Week 8 Web 2.0

The tool that I visited was http://www.librarything.com.
There are several things that I like about the tool. They include the following:
The fact that you can search Amazon, the Library of Congress and 70 other libraries world wide and finding out what other people have been reading who are interested in the same things I am.

A link to this tool on public libraries' web site would be useful when patrons are wondering what to read next in a particular genre.

I really love Library Thing too, but the database Novelist also provides suggestions on "Author Read-alikes.."
But, of course, Library Thing is more democratic- we all get to put our 2 cents worth in.
